Why so many POP email accounts?

The FQ package I'm under gives me 5 POP email accounts.

Why would I ever need more than one?

Some reasons

-multiple people will be checking the mail.[nbsp][nbsp]For example in a company one person might respond to info@ while the webmaster responds to webmaster@ while sales responds to sales@ while the boss has hisname@company.com

-you have a slow connection and don't want to get it all at once.[nbsp][nbsp]For example, you can have an address just for people to submit files/attachments to you.[nbsp][nbsp]Or you can use an address to send the "possible spam" to which you only check when you have time (for example, when you submit your site to directories/search engines, you will often get lots of junk mail from them and their affiliates or whoever they sell your info to.)

As an individual you could seperate those accounts out for different purposes.. perhaps some that you don't want to check as often, one for high volume stuff you don't want cloggin up your main box, a throwaway box for use on newsgoups etc...
