hmmm, I noticed that I wasn't getting any emails forwarded to me from my site. I have a "info@cobranet.com" link that used to work. I guess something has changed because mail sent there now bounces. Someone please fill me in? Thanks.

Hi,

Have you checked your CNC Email Manager and the settings within?

It would appear that either the email alias or POP email account, "info", doesn't exist and you do not have the catch-all feature enabled on your shell email account.

As if the catch-all feature is enabled, no email from your account will be bounced it will all be caught in your shell account or forwarded if you have enabled that feature.

Hopefully this will help :)

Have a Good One
Bob

- Do I bounce or do I catch, Tis the Question?[nbsp][nbsp]:P-

Your post is very vague, please be more forthright with information so that we can have a clearer picture...

FYI: no changes have been made to any of the Email sub-systems that would adversely effect anyones mail...[nbsp][nbsp]If it worked last week (or two/three/four weeks ago) - then it will work the same today...[nbsp][nbsp];)

I just sent a test message to that account by clicking on the email link on the home page.

I have not received an error message back yet... let us know if you do not receive it.

Oops, I had disabled the catch-all feature awhile back because I was getting mail from every tom, dick and harry with a "cobranet" extention. I just created an "info" Alias that will forward to my regular email address. That should do it. Thanks for the prompt help!

Aha, you are forwarding your mail to:
rsax@home.com

I have got some very disturbing news for you, and for one that you can lean **heavily** on them to fix their backlogged mail servers...[nbsp][nbsp]When they do break free, they will quickly jam up again as there are thousands of mail servers out their with a ton of outbound email sitting in the queues...

Please read the following link for more information:
http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=01/01/19/081222&mode=thread

My apologies if I seem frustrated, but I have been babysitting @home.com's email in our servers since the 12th of January...[nbsp][nbsp]Every now and then I see a window of opportunity and will bounce an 'ALRM' to all outbound queues when I see the @home.com mail pipes unjam...

Normally, I wouldn't be that (unfriendly) to another network - but email sitting defered in my queue for close to a week, I have no mercy to push it to where it belongs when the opportunity presents itself...

I cannot do more than what I have already done - and they see me as a competitor so they will not give me the time of day when I've reported this problem to them...

It is now time for them to hear your voice as a customer...

Yes, @home is continually difficult to deliver to. My mailing list software has great difficulty to deliver to my subscribers at that domain, and I often get bounced messages. The Mercury mailing list and moderator's mailing lists that I subscribe to have had many complaints, recently (the last few months?) about @home. I've seen some of my subscribers change their subscription address from some other e-mail addy TO and @home addy, and I almost wanted to write to them, and advise them to not use @home's e-mail services. I don't know how such a major provider could have such poor mail delivery for so many months. I wonder how much e-mail never even gets delivered to people with addresses at that domain?

Glad I don't get services from them!

Boy, I wish my @home address was difficult to deliver to...[nbsp][nbsp]The only reason I ever log in is to check on monthly invoices and delete the flood of spam -- I had 70 such spam messages when I first logged on, never having made the address even remotely public...
