I know, I have asked a similar question before. But. I haven't asked exactly this.

FQ: Are you, or will you ever consider having the Miva Empressa Engine installed for folks who want to purchase the MIVA Storefront? I know that you have a partnership with someone who will do a monthly billing and support, but we don't want to pay a monthly fee. We want to own our cart, but the engine is as much as the cart. I guess this would entail FQ developing a partnership with MIVA. . . ??

If we have to, we will buy the storefront and the engine. But if there is anything in the works, we will hold off. Like I said, we don't mind buying the Miva Shopping system, but the Engine is a lot of money too.

We are trying to put all of our ducks in order before we move over to FQ for hosting. (btw, your answer doesn't influence our decision to move to FQ, just could sweeten it)

I have another piece of advice to ask:

I have been looking for a solution to replace our Yahoo Store. Earleier here someone was wondering why I was looking at Miva, and not some more simple shopping cart software, since we didn't need online processing. That actually led me to look and look for a shopping cart. None of which have I found to have the flexibility that we need from our solution.

Miva seems SOLID, thorough, they have tech support!, they have developers creating modules... They have features we want and need. No other cart that I found could do shipping tables based on destination (International orders, etc).

What I would like to know is: Is there some other _cart_ that gives a big bang for the buck. Easy to configure, non-pc dependant ( I work on a mac), flexible shipping options, customizable. Dummy proof?

If there is something that I am not looking at, please let me know.

Otherwise, back to the topic at hand, FQ is there any posibilty of your partnering with MIVA and the Miva engine would be available to your hostees?
