My class is perpetually in need of cash for our various activities...we take extended field trips, make and launch model rockets, and in general do a lot of expensive activities. Of course, many of my kids can't afford all this and I'm footing the bill...my foot is getting sore.
The site is getting increased traffic - for a class site. We're soon to be featured in a book, so it may even increase further. I'm thinking of activiting some sort of fundraiser online - even just asking by-passing surfers for help - a few have offered without any sort of online solicitation. I would like this to an easy donation and I'd like to accept credit cards.
Assuming I get the nod from the school board to attempt this, what is the best option here? I'm not that technologically adept, but can install scripts (eventually).
Are there reputable third parties that can do a middle-man operation for the class credit card begging?
