There is much interest among my site users for site-affiliated mugs, T-shirts, etc etc.[nbsp][nbsp]While I am exploring whether I want to literally becoming a dealer for this stuff or not . . . I am also looking for venders who will take my designs and deal with orders and processing for me.[nbsp][nbsp]Do any of you use or know of such a service?[nbsp][nbsp]TIA :)!

Hey Mandi,
If your thinking of selling your own imprinted t-shirts, crop tops, thongs, glass eyes, mugs, shot glasses, twizzle sticks, etc.[nbsp][nbsp]
A "drop-ship" situation is very expensive, if your talking 2000 units a month minimum you might get a deal and even make some money.[nbsp][nbsp]That's if there are no return/bad payment problems.
Manufacturing space for these people is like bandwidth to us......GOLD.[nbsp][nbsp]They usually want to get it in, get it out and billed as soon as possible.[nbsp][nbsp]
I have a friend who owns a company that does this type of work who has printed countless promo type doo dads for me and my projects over the years.[nbsp][nbsp]I know from the past he won't get involved with "drop-shipping" since there is no profit and it's plagued with constant return/non payment headaches.
The only people I knew that did the drop shipping / off site billing had HUGE minimum runs.
You could burn a screen, order some Fruit of the Loom / coffee mugs, have them printed and sell / give them away yourself.[nbsp][nbsp]Be sure to save your screen for further runs!
Good luck.

Unless you are doing large quantities I would imagine that those places are just using some type of iron on system..
I would recommend you go to a local printing place and talk to them. If I recall correct I pay about $6.00 for a shirt with 5 ink colors. This cost includes everything.
When you go this route you will usually incur a small one-time charge for the shop to make the screens, but that shouldn’t be more than $20.00 per screen (you will most likely need a new screen for each color).
I recommend doing this if you plan on selling a number of them as its more cost effective and will yield a better product.

LOL at CGSpouses.Net thongs . . . we already have a "Baywatch" image problem, ROFL . . .
Thanks so much for the sage advice, sorta confirmed what I already thought.[nbsp][nbsp]My current PT employer does web sales of books from his shop, and I am getting a free education in the "how to" and "mistakes to avoid" side of things from him.[nbsp][nbsp]
I hadn't realized how extensively profits get munched, with a drop ship arrangement.[nbsp][nbsp]My site is not for profit to start with (soon to be nonprofit) - all proceeds go back into site expenses, so the more we can retain, the better.
