Anyone that is using AuthorizeNet please make sure your are auditing your transactions.[nbsp][nbsp]We have discovered that AuthorizeNet at times gives the SAME authorization codes to different transactions.[nbsp][nbsp]When this happens they only pay us for ONE of the transactions.[nbsp][nbsp]If anyone else discovers they have this problem at their site please let me know.

It seems to be intermittent, however so far we have found almost $10,000 in transactions that we have NOT been paid for as a result of this "quirk."

Ouch! This problem could be a problem with Anet's system or with the backend processor (First Data, Novus, etc.) since it is the backend processor that actually issues the authorization number.

If the problem is with the processor, this could impact more than just Anet transactions, including CyberCash and others.

Keep us posted and let us know where Anet determines the actual cause to reside.
