Adding a "Total" field to a order form

I have a order form for people to buy our products and need to create a "Total" field that multiplys the "quantity" and "price" fields on an existing form. But I can't figura put how to do it. How do you use formulas on a HTML web page?
ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated.
