Just a note -- If anyone would like to talk to the same rep that FutureQuest is currently working with for our own merchant's account -- You can have him contact you by filling out the form found here http://www.futurequest.net/tms/ Once you fill it out TMS will get a hold of you and you can ask ALL KINDS OF QUESTIONS.. at least I know we've been bugging him for over a month and he has always been willing to talk.

Remember this is NOT for the Secure Server it's for getting a Merchants Account -- this is who we are working with.

So far so good http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif I requested more info yesterday and got a phone call this morning (of course, I was asleep and nobody woke me up!). But they left a toll-free number to get back to them, so I will be checking into the idea. Now that I'm about to release a new product, I'd really like to handle my own card orders http://www.aota.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

I'll call them in the morning and see how they handle things. I'm impressed so far already, though http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif

I finally decided to look at futurequest.net/tms/ while I'm at the school, and all I get is an almost blank page (the background shows up, nothing else).

It's Nutscape 4.05, on a PowerMac 8500/120 (whatever that means, I hate Macs). The source code looks okay, but I could be missing something (I hate this monitor too)

Can we not say "I hate Macs?" It's just so... unfruitful. Now, if you were to say "I hate the fact that these darn Macs lock up everytime I'm on the web with Netscape," well, you've identified a problem http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif (which, btw, has to do with memory problems in Netscape and the lack of a protected memory scheme to stop those bad programming practices)

Anyhow, Netscape occasionally has problems rendering some pages, especially if M$ Front Page has touched the pages (or even looked crossways at them :P)

Anyhow, here's the problem: sloppy HTML http://www.aota.net/ubb/wink.gif

There is a misplaced </tr> here:

<tr>
<td valign="bottom"><img src="/images/maincorner.gif" width="9" height="3" border="0"></td>
<td valign="bottom"><img src="/images/merchant-head.gif" width="555" height="72" border="0" name="Tu" alt="Merchants"></td>
</tr>
</tr>

an unclosed <tr> here:

<table width="100%" border="0">
<tr><td>[nbsp]</td>
<td valign=top>
<table width="100%" align="middle">
<tr><td width="100%" colspan="2">

Notice two <tr> tags together with no closing </tr>? MSIE, with its extreme tolerance for bad HTML, works fine, but Netscape borks.

Jake
