Thanks Deb for setting up this forum and for everyone for participating, I feel like I'm already learning quite a bit.
My big question about all this ecommerce stuff is, how does it apply to non-Americans? We're in Canada, and are targetting local businesses (aside: I find it quite funny that on my ISP here, I'm the same number of "hops" away from FQ as from the other local ISP's that are two blocks down the street from my house). We're not needing to offer ecommerce yet, but we don't want to wait until we need to do it until we start scrambling for the information.
Does anyone know how much of the policies, proceedures, and legal stuff for ecommerce is internationally applicable? Or has anyone noticed a good Canadian info source about it? (How can I recognise a good Canadian ecommerce info site?)
Thanks in advance for any tips and input.
