Server Status

We have just started working on our website that is hosted here and I have also set my email program to automatically check my email from this server every 5 minutes along with my other websites at other hosting providers.

I have noticed that the server I am on seems to be slow and very often down. My email software display a connection to this server failede all too often.

Is this something that will be fixed or is it a chronic problem?

As far as slowness, please check your trace routes to determine where the slowness is...[nbsp][nbsp]9 out of 10 times, it is a congested routing point between your machine and our servers...[nbsp][nbsp]You must also take into account that the servers run nightly maintenace (some quite heavy on the CPU) between the hours of 1:00am - 5:00am EST...[nbsp][nbsp]Sometimes this will make telnet/SSH sluggish, but is necessary for Backups/STATS processing/Quota checks/etc...
