I had to to major modifications to my b-plan. :D Why am I smiling? I received an ingenius idea just sitting here! heheh

Anyways, this one is going to need subdomains (and lots of`em!). Somewhere around ten. There isn't a mentioned limit on the info at FQ, so should I presume there is no such limit?

I think subdomains count as overlays, and would be limited like they are...

Subdomains fall under IRM or IRO, depending on which you use. They run under the same limitations, adding to any IRx's you have... For example, if you have 3 IRM's, you can have up to 2 DS-IRM's (subdomain mapped to a subdirectory)...

Hope this helps.

So I could get 10 subs all directing to different subdirectories, right?
Ex (but times 10):
Cool.JustAnExample.Com >>> JustAnExample.com/Cool/

Now what if I also needed domains forwarded to those 10 subsdomains?
Ex (but times 10):

I presume I would need to find another place that would do external redirections to my subs at FQ then? Any suggestions? (the ones I have looked at seem con-looking and I'm afraid would just take my domains)

I am sure if you do a support@futurequest.net you can try and work something out maybe for a slight additional fee for going beyond and above. But the only way to find out is asking :)

A subdomain counts as either an IRM or an IRO, depending on what it does. You can have up to 10 IRO's and 5 IRM's, regardless whether they're subdomains or full domains. So you can have 2 DS-IRM's and 3 full IRM's, or 1 DS-IRM and 4 IRM's, and so on (same for IRO)...

If you need to go beyond that for full IRM's, you would need to purchase a full hosting account for one or more of the additional domains.

Hope this helps to better explain...

IRM - Internal Redirection/Mapping
www.irm.com (http://www.irm.com) --> www.domain.com/irm/ (http://www.domain.com/irm/)

IRO - Internal Redirection/Overlay
www.iro.com (http://www.iro.com) --> www.domain.com (http://www.domain.com), or most popular usage:
www.domain.net (http://www.domain.net) --> www.domain.com (http://www.domain.com)

DS - Domain Stack, long way of saying Subdomain :)

DS-IRM
members.domain.com --> www.domain.com/members/ (http://www.domain.com/members/)

DS-IRO
home.domain.com --> www.domain.com (http://www.domain.com)

Hope this helps decode the acronyms...
