profane user-gen pages

I allow users to post pages to my site. There is one guy who posts filth on a regular basis. I have been collecting
env variables on the submissions.

What can I do to track this guy down/complain to his ISP/whatever....?

For starters if you have his isp, do a reverse lookup. You can try neotrace for this (available on tucows.com)

Then you should be able to find the support # for his isp with neotrace.

Then call and report him. A phone call is usually better and faster then email..

If the abuser is on a modem they may have a different IP address for each transgression.[nbsp][nbsp]The ISP will therefore also need times to tie it back to an account.

To remove the problem in the future have you considered putting a keyword blocker onto your script?
