I am trying to install this php3 script:

I get safe mode and user-id problems when installing
By remaking the directories from the setup I am able to make the forum work but the main feature: uploading pictures/files into the thread does not work since it auto create directories with apache owned used-id.

Is there anyway to fix this?

I just got a domain at futurequest and I am wondering if it would be the same problem on a different host. Do I have to own my own server for it to work?

if anyone knows another forum script where you can upload files/pictures in the threads let me know (post the URL)

did you get the forum working, or did you find another forum to which images can be added ?
