My soccer site was previewed on England's popular football
magazine.(last month).
Few days ago, A brazilian Tv station showed my site on TV.
Then yesterday CNN used my site in their sport section
on TV and on the web. This morning I am in BBC. What is going on! from 600 hits a day to 85000 per day!!!!
I think this is my 15 minutes of fame.:) more like several months tho!

Congratulations![nbsp][nbsp]You've managed to be the envy of every FQ site owner and the scapegoat of every FQ employee.[nbsp][nbsp]:)
If any of your soccer fans decide running is really their thing, send a few of 'em my way...
I was just told that Kick! (one of the top two or three running sites, I would estimate) will be featuring my site in this week's newsletter, but that might add a couple hundred extra hits, not a couple hundred thousand!
Dan
edit: Yikes![nbsp][nbsp]This was post #200 for me, and I've hardly been here 5 weeks.[nbsp][nbsp]Quick, someone call AA, I need Aota Anonymous!!![nbsp][nbsp]Terra, can you set FQGuardian to put a throttle on my posting priviliges when I exceed 40 a week?[nbsp][nbsp]:)

WOW! (for lack of better things to say ;)[nbsp][nbsp])
It sounds like the media set itself on fire about you (or set itself up like Dominoes, IE: One reported or featured and caused the others etc.)
Dang it, Kickster! I sure hope SOMEONE has told you this, but: Start selling advertising NOW!" I mean NOW! If you sold ads for just $5 per CPM, you would get $425 a day or $12750 for this month! If you sold for $15 per CPM you'd get $1275 per day and $38250 per month! Tell whoever you're working for you are taking a vacation! Either that or just sign up for an affiliate program or pay-per-click program (although it makes less money). Get right on it! :D :D :D
Best of luck (and congrats!) I hope this little scream helped, just remember me percentage-wise when you are cashing your pay. lol :D

I am using Burstmedia. I am making only 120 per day :(
They wont count every single page view and worst yet 30%
default banners (non paying)
I think I need a new host. My current ISP will kick me out soon. (ICOM)
Ps. they are the worst host in the world stay away at all costs.

$120.00 per day?! If I understood that right, I obviously need to look into getting some advertising!

Doubtful. Ever heard of TrueHosting? You can check out some horror stories at http://www.technogirl.net/99tales/weaselboy.htm. We had a horrid experience with them, as well, which I will be submitting to this site when I have time (an example of one of my earlier exchanges -- probably the best response I ever got from them: "My password is not working when I try to log in to the Control Panel." Reply: "Your site is using up a lot of bandwidth." No joke!) There's also a bit of info at Web Hosts that Suck (http://www.dogvox.com/sucks.htm) -- where I see ICOM is as well.
