browscap.ini ?

[nbsp]Hi i am trying to detect the make and version of teh user's browser and need to upload the browscap.ini file. I need to know which directory i should upload to.

Also where i can find the php3.ini file so that i can make a few changes to that.

I did a phpinfo() and[nbsp][nbsp]got the answer to my earliar question.

Hoiwever now when i do a

$browser= get_browser();
print($browser->version);

i get :
Warning: $browser is not an object in /big/dom/xarc_max/www/ccdc/version.php3 on line 3

The above 2[nbsp][nbsp]lines work on my win32 php-apache machine.

So please tell em what is happening. ALso i need to know if i can change the php3.ini file to suit my settings.
