After reading the various posts concerning the use of Auth_MySQL for password protection, I gathered that it's still in the works.[nbsp][nbsp]Correct?

If not, I would appreciate a quick rundown on setting it up, as the mod_auth_mysql "documentation" leaves a truckload to be desired.

Gracias.

I have not decided if I will allow public usage of auth_mysql...

It was intended for centralized core FQuest operations, and as you will see I have pulled it offline in the Apache 1.3.6 updates to fix a few issues with it as it needs to be massaged (hacked to pieces) for specific purposes that probably will not translate to public usage very well...

If you have to control 1000 users or less, then I recommend utilizing the DB hash based methods...[nbsp][nbsp]DB library is pretty powerful and should scale well for you...

Yes, the documentation is a bit sparse - I learned it by reading the source code... ;)
