Need a new scanner

[BOF]

My present scanner has died and I need a replacement.

I've narrowed the choices to Epson Perfection (640U), HP Scanjet 3400 and Umax Astra 6400.

Anyone have experience with any of these?[nbsp][nbsp]Any other suggestions?

I went ahead and bought an Epson Perfection 1240U. So far, so good.
