What will destroy a video adapter? My computer monitor (on Rhoda) recently went black and since I got clicks and beeps, I figured it was the video card. Having set it aside and put my monitor on the old computer Mom sold me for the kids, it worked (which again made me think the video card was what is wrong with Rhoda.) Tonight the monitor went black again and I get the long beep with 2 short fast beeps which the book says means the board is gone in this one now. Is it the games the children are using? Surely not. Any ideas what could be happening? Hurry with the answers cause this is the rental and it's going to be gone soon- which means <sob> no computer at all for a while.
