Hm, if it were me I'd just throw the old hard drive in the new computer - can't have enough disk space http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif
But to move / copy, you need a laplink cable (and software). That's the best way to do it. It looks like a yellow printer cable that hooks to both parallel ports, and the software will let you manage files between the two computers easily, even if neither is a laptop http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif
http://www.laplink.com/products/whatsright.asp should help you out, unless you want a full network. Sounds like you just need it for a one time use, or once in a while, so Laplink is the way to go here http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif
If both computers have a USB port, looks like Laplink supports that too http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif Much faster than parallel or serial.

I got a little frustrated trying to get the link to work properly - user problem, no doubt - and ended up FTP'ing lots of my files to my site, and then downloading them on the new 'puter. Slow but effective.
