Need help finding email "pal"

Hi, all --

I've been getting annoying messages lately from someone who doesn't sign his/her name. I have the email address, and would like to be able to find the real name. These aren't abusive messages, and I don't want to cause trouble for the sender, just know who it is.

I remember once finding a reverse lookup on the web, but can't retrace my steps. Can anyone help?

Thanks for the tip, Deb. One of the search engines listed on that page did allow for reverse lookup, and I tried it, but it lists the address I have as nonexistent. The person is probably using a fake email address. It came through aol, and I think I'll try to contact them; I have the numbers (don't know the technical name) in the routing information.

Just a note, being on AOL myself I do believe AOL doesn't have distinct IP for anyone. IP changes everytime. So if the person was on AOL the "numbers" in theory would be different everytime.
