That is a horrible judgement!

It would be interesting to have more details on how referee magazine was able to trademark that common word and have it stand up.[nbsp][nbsp]

Their behavior after they won (demanding immediate closure of the site and $5000/day in damages for the transitional "we have moved" page) and the terms of the judgement (not only the domain name, but also just the word referee in any directory name) seem ridiculous and frightening to anyone who has any common words in their domains.
