when you register a domain name, when do they usually ask for the DNS numbers?

These are usually requested at the time of registration as each domain name must point somewhere.[nbsp][nbsp]Many places often provide their own name server information when none is provided.

A must-note: Some places, like Namebargain.com , input their own DNS information and don't ask you for yours at the registration process. This is fine, because they give you free parking until you want to change it later.

Word to the wise: Don't use NameBargain, a dishonest service at the least. Only use Register.com if you have money burning holes in your pockets and you are looking for the next slow-moving mammoth like Network Solutions. :P
