Basically, I want to change my site with nic-handle DD10815 (sneakydave@tconl.com) to DD14445 (sneaky@sneakydave.com).

From the "make changes" function at the site, I chose to "change my Contact record address, phone, or email" for the site in question, which happens to be sneakydave.com.

But this request simply changes your handle information (from what I've seen). It doesn't change the handle on your site. Each request I sent resulted in "We already have a handle on file with this email address". Well no S****!

Like I said, I've been trying to do this for a year, with no response or solutions whatsoever.

I may be mistaken about this, BUT I believe that NetworkSolutions would consider that a change of "Ownership" of the domain?

You can change anything about the Domain Holder except who it is, unless you file a Domain Holder Transfer, and for that NetSol charges a New one year registration, not extension, from the time of the change.

At least that is my understanding of NetSol's procedures, which I try to deal with as little as possible[nbsp][nbsp]:P

You _can_ change any of the contacts (administrative, technical, or billing.)

The only think which you cannot change (without $) is the Registrant which would constitute a change of ownership.

Of course, you could also easily change the email and info of your first nic handle if all else fails.

Just to be sure, your route is:

Make Changes -> Enter Domain Name to get next screen -> Choose "List Forms" Button (bottom right) -> Service Agreement (top option)

Thanks Jeff, I think I got the right form filled out now...
You said "Of course, you could also easily change the email and info of your first nic handle if all else fails. "

That's what I tried to do to get around this bass ackwards place, but it wouldn't allow me because I already had a NIC with the new email address. BAH!

Thanks for comiserating![nbsp]

Can anybody point me to a thread, or the information on how to simply change the NIC handle for a site registered on networksolutions.com?

I've tried many times for over a year, and nothing seems to work. Thanks

Dave,

I am afraid that you will find that there is NOTHING simple about doing business with NetworkSolutions[nbsp][nbsp](solutions NOT :))

Anyway here is where their forms are located.[nbsp][nbsp]At least for me that has been the best way to work with them.
http://www.networksolutions.com/makechanges/forms.html

They also have an "Account Management Helper"[nbsp][nbsp]that is supposed to be able to walk you through any of their processes ?
http://www.networksolutions.com/makechanges/

Also if you would be more specific about the NIC you want to change. i.e. Tech Contact or Billing Contact it might help.

Hope this helps,
