Instead of entering "135" in my address when I registered domains with Joker and created my CORENIC nic-handle, I entered "35". When I noticed once I pressed submit I just "BLAAAHHHed!" numerous times.
That was BEFORE I knew how great every other registrar is compared to Network Polutions. I headed to Corenic.org and did a whois on the domains I registered 2 minutes ago. The files were already there (of course it would take a little bit until they were fully propogated), I selected my handle (found next to my name), then I headed back to Joker's "Service Zone." It was all there! I changed it 10 seconds flat and the CoreNic.org database was updated.
With NetworkSol it was virtually impossible to change that kind of stuff, and if you were somehow able to you'd wait weeks.
I know that Deb discussed these new registrars not having changes like this streamlined (like change of nameserver names and IP's), but Joker has it all down!
Anyways, just an enthusiasticly happy plug for those awesome German folks I like to call Joker.com ;)
