Domain name questions

I'm looking at moving my mom's site (yes she has a site, though I do most of the design and setup) off from her rural ISP provider to a real provider (futurequest).[nbsp][nbsp]I'd like to order an IRM package to host it.[nbsp][nbsp]I could then maintain her site and mine quite easily at low cost.

What does it take to do this as far as domain registration goes?[nbsp][nbsp]I doubt I can just attach somebody else's domain name to my account.[nbsp][nbsp]Should the domain be registered in her name with me as the administrative contact?

You can register the domain in whoever's name you like. The registrant has nothing to do with where the domain points - the DNS information is what needs to point to FutureQuest's name servers. See http://Register.FutureQuest.net/ for details.

You can then just hit the order forms (http://www.FutureQuest.net/Order/) and place the IRM order :)
