How long for register.com?

A few months ago (when I registered a domain the old way) it seemed to take a few days to process through to the internet.[nbsp][nbsp]
It has been 11 days since I registered with register.com and 8 days since they processed it in their database.
How long does this process take now?
When should I start to worry that something went wrong?

There was a group of domains that went through but are showing on the register.com name servers... I had thought this set was fixed.

I am aware of one domain name of yours that is showing on the register.com name servers.[nbsp][nbsp]I do not know whether or not you used the main http://www.register.com web site to register it or the branded http://FutureQuest.register.com web site?

New domain registrations should take less than three days (normally just 24 hours) providing there are no problems...

For info purposes -- I used the branded version

and will repost when it is up and running.

As of this morning --
it works :)
I sent a customer service request to register.com on 9/14 and received a form response.[nbsp][nbsp]I responded and received another form-like response that indicated that there was NO problem.
Deb then sent a clear message to register.com on the date of my last message here (9/15)
they sent me a tech-ese respose (on 9/16)

It began working this morning -- 14 days after registration.
Without Deb's help, I would still be waiting.
