MONTHS ago my husband and I started a site. We registered it through register.com and secured the name through Network Solutions. A couple of weeks later we found a great deal on hosting and attempted to move the hosting (hope I'm using correct terminology :).[nbsp][nbsp]Well its been since April at least and we have responded to dozens of emails and reply from NS and the f#$g site is still at register.com.[nbsp][nbsp]Any suggestions on what to do to get this done or better yet, who I can OFFICIALLY complain to![nbsp][nbsp]If I ran my business this way I would STARVE.[nbsp][nbsp]All help would be appreciated!

here's my opinion on this (having gone this way at least twice): don't waste your time with repeated emails to NS. once you've requested a domain name move (to another server), send your "confirmation" via the NS fax form--with your drivers license and electricity bill (if your registrant address is your home address) photocopied for authentication, and of course the NIC number that goes with that particular request.
they usually respond to this within 10 days and make the requested change.
You may find this link helpful http://Register.FutureQuest.net
Near the bottom there is specific instructions for transferring a domain name from Register.com[nbsp]
