[nbsp] I'm submitting my site to search engines in other countries (U.K., Australia).[nbsp][nbsp]Do I need to add a .us at the end of my domain name?[nbsp][nbsp]Do international users need to add a .us to reach American sites?

No, .com .net and .org addresses are meant to be global top level domain names for commercial, networks / internet related, and organizations.
When you see a www.something.us (http://www.something.us) or a www.YellowBook.FL.US (http://www.YellowBook.FL.US) (which by the way does not exist) those have been specially registered just like an Irish citizen would register a www.DomainNameHere.ie (http://www.DomainNameHere.ie) . (BTW, I researched Ireland's domain and you have to be an Irish citizen or have a passport from Ireland to be able to get their IE domain name... so there goes my www.IHate.Ie (http://www.IHate.Ie) address!)

NON TECHIES:
Ooo wait, by that IHate.IE address I am not saying I hate Ireland!!! I am not an anti-Irish person, I just don't like Internet Explorer or then I just like Netscape much much better.
