Binky

Bet you thought you'd never see the dreaded y2k acronym again. Well, I never worried about it at all and did nothing to prepare for it and Jan 1, 2000 came and went without a hitch. (Cocky, wasn't I?) Today it finally caught up with me. Tried sending a fax and my fax program just sat there like an idiot and refused to budge. I finally realized it uses a date function and probably was waiting for Feb 5, 1900 to start the send.
I've been using WinFax Lite since about 1988. It's all I ever needed (I send or receive maybe 6 faxes a year.) It's tiny and lightning fast. So I went to the Symantec site to look for a fix. They offer a free update for Lite users that's about 42 megabytes. Way too big.
Anyone know of a freeware fax program that's tiny and absolutely basic?
