How do I zip a file

I have the winzip program and I cannot figure out how to zip a file.[nbsp][nbsp]Can you give me clear step by step instruction.

If it was installed with all the defaults, you should be able to right-click on any file and select "Add to filename.zip"...[nbsp][nbsp]

Or open WinZip and just drag the file(s) you want zipped, and it will prompt you for a filename...
