View Full Version : Douglas Adams has died
I know Terra was a fan of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and I'm pretty sure many others on this forum were too. Sad news for all of you ... the author Douglas Adams has died.

Now could someone tell me again how to get that 'tounge' smiley on these boards. I feel sure he is looking down poking his tounge out at us all :)
Joe.

Wow. He was so young, too. Very sad.

Does anyone have an image for a 'half-mast flag' ?
I will swap out the HG2G smiley image for that one during this weekend...
Thanks...

From the BBC site:The author became a household name when the cult science fiction novel was turned into a BBC TV series.Didn't it start out as a radio series, then TV, then the novels?

A very sad day. I've read the HHGTTG series several times and will read it again this week. His special brand of lunacy will be missed.

Haven't seen any mice around lately. They must be mourning too :(

and having worked in the past to save rhinos, it's true that douglas adam's spirit touched all of us -- in so many different aspects, in so many different ways.
