I have been working on my FQ site since May/2000. Its url is:
http://www.cookcheap.com/
It is a site dedicated to helping inexperienced cooks such as college students.
The plan is to include easy recipes, cooking tips, and reviews.
I have permission from a publisher to put some of their recipes on my site, but I need a great many more recipes to make my site more valuable. Does anyone know if there is a source of public domain recipes that I can use to populate my recipes area?

I don't know how many of these are public domain, but there are definitely a lot of recipes here:

1) Pick up phone
2) Dial Pizza Hut
3) Wait 25-45 minutes or until cheese is melted

High-altitude - adjust wait time as necessary.

Well, that's about the extent of my cooking abilities ;)

Justin, I'm impressed that you still cook from scratch!! I haven't had a pizza made the long way around in quite sometime.

My Pizza Recipe is now:
Click link to www.Food.com (http://www.Food.com)
Click to reorder last order
Click to use same credit card as last time.
Wait 25 minutes.
Eat and get back to work.

-- Mike, you have an excellent opportunity to advertise your site without advertising!! Visit the other recipe sites that have items you would like to include on your site.[nbsp][nbsp]Send them an email explaining what you would like to do, ask permission, and note that you will include a link to their site by the recipe in return.[nbsp][nbsp]They'll visit your site to see the link, once permission is granted, and you have gained more content.[nbsp][nbsp]Tis the best of the net!

[nbsp]- FoodAndHealth.com is hosted by FQ -- You may want to start there.
[nbsp][nbsp][nbsp][nbsp]This concludes my free "mention" of the month :P

Deb beat me to mentioning FoodandHealth.com (which I didn't think to mention until she mentioned it ;)[nbsp][nbsp]).[nbsp][nbsp]Another one that I'm familiar with for similar reasons is www.BitesofAsia.com (http://www.BitesofAsia.com) -- some delicious looking recipes!

Mike,

If you go to the following website, they'll tell you how you can take a maximum of 31 recipes from their archives for use on your website *catch* you'll need to first email them and provide a link to them -

http://www.wwrecipes.com/link.htm -- UPDATE: They aren't allowing reprints from their website anymore, only their newsletter.

Best always,

Joi~
