I'd still teach, but every custom-made student desk in my class would be equipped with a 21" NEC touch screen and terminal hooked into the class LAN and some beautiful printers. Cable modem? You got it! An IP for each user.
I'd even have a few 50" plasma monitors around the room for discussion purposes. Of course, each student would have use of a laptop to take home during the school year so homework could be "turned in" to the LAN and in case of extended illness or trip.
I'd hire someone to do all my paperwork and two full-time classroom tutors.
Field trips to New York City, Washington D.C., Paris, and the South Pacific (strictly for educational purposes)!
Hey, this is fun. I've never purchased a lottery ticket, though.

Heck I'd be a teacher too if I had tutors hired for students and do my paperwork! Life would just be easy!
I forgot to mention I would also tithe 10% and donate lots to charities and orginzations like my parents' one. (They have a humanitarian organization in Haiti with 25 schools, 17 churches, and 1 orphange house).
We have yet to hear from Deb or Terra... my curiousity is killing me, either that or it is my anxiousness in waiting for some quirky little comment. :)

Ok so I missed a day... but if figures because it was Friday the 13th so :þ .
Today's (err, yesterday's) links focuses on luck and the lottery. What would you do if you won?
I'd pay off my bills, move to Silicon Valley in a few years and start something big.... then I'd buy out FutureQuest! (j/k on the FutureQuest part, although I don't think Deb and Terra would mind if the price is enough to let them retire in sunny Florida for the rest of their life and just take care of their kids!!! But then again Terra could go a little crazy on us *grin* ) Ooo, I almost forgot the couple mil in CDs stocks and bonds...
You've Won the Lottery!!! Now what?

Yes, I'd still teach, too. Definitely hire secretaries and tutors. Really cool idea with the custom desks and monitors. I hadn't thought of that. But I'd also get a bigger house, closer to my job and a limo and chaffeur. Currently I spend 1.5-2 hours a day commuting, and it would be so nice to have someone else do the driving. I could get some work done or actually read the paper, for a change!
