Okay I am like so happy now...I've finally got my website completely transferred over to FQuest. Even fixed most of my HTML bugs that I didn't notice on the first round. http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif

Time to pop open that bottle of champagne I never got to on New Years and celebrate http://www.aota.net/ubb/wink.gif. But first wanted to invite you all to check it out. See the address below, thanks!

And thank you so much to FQuest, Deb and of course Terra, who I now hear has been finally freed from the stats project! Thanks, without FQuest doubt this day would have come so quickly.

Thanks Deb, trust me I will be using AOTA and this board even more than I have when I get to CGI stuff. (Actually hang out here every day just don't post much - it gives me an excuse for my habit procrastinating http://www.aota.net/ubb/wink.gif )

Actually have a question for you. I saw on the thread about which messagebard to offer your thought on offering UBB as an incentive and perhaps installing it for a fee. Since I am going to buy the UBB script shortly I was wondering if you or Terra might do the installation for me for a fee of course. What might that fee be would be open for discussion.

Any excuse to not learn Perl and CGI right now.. http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif

Actually we officially endorse Del for those types of things... He's great with CGI and knows the FQuest server very well http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif

I'm sure he would be willing to install it at a very low cost w/o a problem.

We trust him... and I think it would be better if you tossed him an email for that one... we need him to 'get into the UBB' anyway... we're hoping to hire him on officially soon....

Del@downinit.com is who you need to email http://www.aota.net/ubb/wink.gif

Deb
Del drop me a check for that plug hehe

Sorry Deb, I don't think you'd want a check from me, mostly cause all the checks I have left are from a now closed account http://www.aota.net/ubb/frown.gif

Armand, just let me know what you want/need done http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif I'll be happy to help.

Del, thanks I'll be probably sending you an e-mail later then. So we can discuss things. Wow, love this place. Everybody is so willing to help each other.

Hearts, thanks for checking out the site. You don't have to be a professional (though I seriously doubt there are any professional poets these days). Everything at the site is nothing but amateur, some average some just utterly great. I look forward to a submission from you though.

That reminds me need to find that thread on ad banners for AOTA posting. hhmmm.

Well thanks all...from someone who's starting to feel like a part of the group now

Thanks all

Elizabeth, yeah it was my goal to re-launch for the new year. Scary part was I signed on in late November. Goes to show how fast moving I am. Well it was a renovation of 208 pages that killed me on time. But you are right- this is the best hosting company.

Deb, yeah I will probably contact Del then. Been eyeing one of his scripts anyway, but needed to see if he can customize it a bit for me. See how picky and lazy I am.. http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif

For a while there I thought Del did work for you folks. Makes sense to me then to hire him.

Actually am downloading the UBB as I write this post. Geez it's a slow download. Anyways thanks both of you
