The last post in this forum was on March 30, so I hope someone reads this! LOL

I just recently reached an agreement with a writer from The Columbus Dispatch to write semi-monthly articles for my site about the Yankees' Minor League team based in Columbus.[nbsp][nbsp]I want to promote this HEAVILY on my forums (which get 95% of my traffic) and other sites.[nbsp][nbsp]So I need a decent banner made.

It doesn't have to be real fancy, just has to get the point across.[nbsp][nbsp]I would be willing to do some PHP/MySQL type programming for you in exchange for this, or I would even be willing to pay a nominal fee.

If you think you can help, shoot me an email (in my profile I think) or respond here.

Thanks!

Hi Jimbo,

I would strongly recommend against using a banner due to the banner blindness. Use simple text instead.

On our site I replaced a banner to another section with a simple text. Click through rates were immediately more than 10 times higher!

Here's the text link example:
http://www.digitaldutch.com/unitconverter/

Not to mention the fact that text links makes the page download quicker, is easier on the server, etc, etc.

I suggest adding a link like:
"Read everything about the Yankees' Minor League team.
<The most recent article title>"
