I'm working on this small project -- and wanted to ask...

Do any of ya's have some cool links that can help artist wanna be's?[nbsp][nbsp]It would also be helpful if ya's have links for helpful utilities for graphics too.

I am working locally with a young kid that could use some help, however, this site will be used as a tool for many in the long run.

I appreciate your time and your assistance.

:) Thanks! :)

This might or might not be of any use to you, but this link is to a large collection of articles (written by the same author) on the fundamentals of web design. The guy (a Russian by the name of Dmitry Kirsanov) knows his stuff and I regard his articles as a valuable reference source. He never discusses technical implementation, but instead concentrates on the artistic principles behind design:

Hope you find it to be of some use.

The first two links are for specific software, but the principles are applicable to *any* package. The other two links are more more general. HTH

thanks!

this person i am talking about is a really great artist.. he needs some guidance, such as forums, head hunters, advise/techniques on how to improve his skill and make something of it.[nbsp][nbsp](he too is working on this, I just thought it would be fun/helpful to see what kinds of stuff you guys knew!)

His art is not computer art and he is not seeking to create web sites.. (that is all I can tell ya's at this point)

thank you very much.
