View Full Version : Instant Banner Creations!
http://animationonline.com/
By clicking on the link above you can create free banners online! This is one of many banner creators on the net... one of my favorites to recommend.
Why do you need it? Well if your site does not already have a banner this is your chance to create one and have it displayed for FREE on AOTA.net!!!
Check out the Server News Forum for more info.

Don't have much time, but I took a quick peek: Very cool!
I've got it bookmarked for when I have the time to play with it!
Thanks!
btw, how do you make a link on these boards? Anyone?

Deb,
thanks for the link! I am still very illiterate and struggling to maintain a website that would have been shut down otherwise. I am now trying to change the page "Site needs a new home"-Any suggestions. I have been sifting though the tech pages.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
That page is the 'index.html' within your www directory. If you were to delete it and rename 'main.shtml' to 'index.shtml' then the main.shtml would become the page a visitor sees when entering the site.
The best tutorial on the net is still at http://www.ncsa.uiuc.edu/General/Internet/WWW/HTMLPrimerAll.html You may want to check it out http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif

Hang in there Lisa - I *acquired* a site that was important to me several months ago under the same circumstances; you WILL learn what you need to know - the learning curve can seem very steep, and it is frustrating when your users do not seem to have patience for the process. Don't let the fact that you see very complex and advanced topics posted on these forums keep you from asking questions at the *other* end of the developer's spectrum . . . remember EVERYONE (except maybe Deb and Andrew, LOL . . .) was a newbie once, and somebody took the time to point things out to them too . . . HANG IN THERE!
