Hi,

I've just downloaded the demo evaluation version of a program called Xara 3D, and I must say that it looks really good.

Below is a graphic I created for my company within 2 minutes of loading the program. Its really easy to use, and you can get stuck in straight away, as it has a really easy interface.

Here's the 3D graphic I made:

It's only basic, but it just goes to show the quality of the images you can create within a few minutes.

You can check out the product at http://www.xara.com

Hope you like it!
Lee.

Hey, very cool. In fact, I just went and downloaded the trial myself. It's cool to see that even the trial version allows you to save in usuable formats. I've been checking out a few graphics program demos lately (really need to upgrade), but many of them don't allow you to save your work, or if you can save, it only allows you to do so in some strange format that no other program will read -- even demos for programs that are "meant" to work with your other graphics programs do this! (Hmm, can you tell I'm a bit miffed?)

This looks cool, though, and relatively affordable, too! Can't wait to try it myself.

Thanks for letting us in on it!

No problem,

The only restriction with the demo is that
is prints a background saying
"Xara 3D demo" around your logo.

But that's easy to get around. All you do is edit your logo in something like PaintShop Pro (just the shareware version will do) and use the rubber and magnify tool to delete the background. That's that I did with the above logo.

Hope you find it useful. I'm thinking of registering the program myself 'cause it's just so easy to use.

Best Regards,
Lee.
