What do you think of Amazon.com keeping track of sales by businesses, schools, groups etc?[nbsp][nbsp]I had to laugh when one of National Semiconductor's top purchased books was Laura Corn's 101 Nights of Grrrreat Sex.[nbsp][nbsp]

Anyway...do YOU think they should be keeping track and apparently sharing these facts?

I really don't mind the keeping of such information, but the sharing of it REALLY irks me...

I agree, they are helping themselves by collecting such information for marketing & other purposes but them sharing it publicly is a whole other story! It is a violation of privacy and raises many other issues, they will probably get a lawsuit one day if they continue this. I know that if I was someone well known and bought books off of Amazon, books that I would want to keep hush hush (not that I would do such a thing), and Amazon decided to publicly release them I would sue their pants off. Eh, I guess that's just me...
