Eeeee, I on the other hand am worried for us! It looks like it is coming straight toward Palm Beach County but the people at the National Hurricane Center keep saying we are only going to have a minimum of category 1 winds, and I am only about 1-2 miles away from the intercoastal/shore! Deb, you are going to be fine so far inland, but I on the other hand have something to worry about! It's category 4/5, bigger then Hurrricane Hugo, 3 times as strong as Hurricane Andrew! How can you not be worried?

Should start around 11AM and be at its worst here later on in the afternoon, pray! ;)

Well we're back home in Jupiter...stayed overnight in Boynton, west of I95.[nbsp][nbsp]Not much doing there, but when we got home we were greeted with a couple of down trees in the neighborhood, branches, and a lot of pine needles all over!![nbsp][nbsp]Thankfully it didn't hit Florida directly...it was a good trial run ;).[nbsp][nbsp]Hopefully hurricane Gert will also pass us by :).

Well, sorry to say the hurricane was a total dissapointment for me! No debris or card board boxes flying past my windows, no rain, just a little wind. Some real hurricane action without the consequences is what I would have liked to see! :D

Then there is the annoying people on CBS News 12. First on Monday they said we were gonna get Tropical Storm winds that night, then it switched to 8AM, then to noon on Tuesday, then to 2PM, then to between 2 and 6PM! And on top of that, we didn't get anything until the wee hours of the morning on Wednesday when everyone was asleep. LOL

I heard Jupiter had very strong winds...enough to knock you down...but I wasn't here to experience it :(.
