I will attack this one step at a time.
1. Your index.html file was saved as index._html (note the space) simply rename this index.html and that will fix this problem.
2. Your background image is not uploaded so it will not show it until you upload it.
3. The paths to your images are incorrect. For example on your background image on your index page you are calling it (by ../office51/gallery/www-back/purple.jpg) The easiest way to fix this would be to put the full url to the image. Thus manually edit that file in a text editor and replace that with (http://www.pgiftworld1.com/purple.jpg) *assuming you uploaded the image to that location*
You will need to manually edit all files that are not using correct paths to fix these problems. Use what I said as a guideline, upload the necessary images, and you should be on your way.[nbsp][nbsp]For other help you might look @ http://www.aota.net/FTP/index.php3 , http://www.aota.net/HTML/index.php3 , and some of the other articles @ http://www.aota.net

Its sounds like you have not uploaded that file to the server. Find the file on your computer, and upload it, then put the full url to the image on your page and you should be set. I noticed in your page you put for your background image (www.pgiftworld1.com/purple.jpg (http://www.pgiftworld1.com/purple.jpg)) don’t forget to add the (http://) so it should be (http://www.pgiftworld1.com/purple.jpg)
Just so you know when you upload a page, if it has images, you will have to upload them as well. It appears you missed uploading the images, and that is causing part of the problem, with the other problem being the paths as I talked about above.

If the contents of your www directory are showing, you will want the file that comes up when some one accesses your main page to be labeled index.html, or index.htm.
To address the broken image problem, it appears the editor you used put incorrect paths in thus your browser cant find the images. To fix this you might manually edit the file, and use the full url to each image. Also make sure you have uploaded the images.
If you provide me with your domain name, I will show you an example on how to fix these if you need additional help.

thanks for the info... but i'm still getting the same result....right now i'm concentrating on my index page....brian, i did put in the exact wording that you gave me for the background image with the http:// at the bigginning that i left out the first time...but the result was the same...i usded auto pilot with star writer with their preinstalled[nbsp][nbsp]background.... i just added text...this page was saved on my hard drive and when i view it there the text and the blue ruffled background is there...but after i upload this with file manager i only get the text....this page is now showing on my site....pgiftworld1.com[nbsp][nbsp][nbsp][nbsp] maybe someone could tell me what would be causing this problem......also with the pages with this background. and text and picture.... the text is still the only thing that shows...[nbsp][nbsp]thanks again....Patrick

You will need to upload (purple.jpg) to your www directory before it will show up on your site for your background. This image from looking at your original index file is in the following directory (/office51/gallery/www-back/). To transfer this file, open up your FTP program and go to that directory. Once you find this file transfer it to the www directory on your site as well as any other images in that directory that should be on your site, and you should be all fixed up.

thanks everyone for all the help.... i finally got the background image problem solved...i used an auto pilot with pre- installed codes....they put too much for the code that went in the background....i used only the file name....purple.jpg[nbsp][nbsp]and it worked!!!!![nbsp][nbsp] now i can check why my pics didn't show.... i suspect they did the same thing with that and hopefully i can just do a similar correction....and[nbsp][nbsp]thanks again......patrick[nbsp][nbsp]
Hi Patrick,
You don't have an FTP program that comes with your package but there are free ones available.[nbsp][nbsp]You may want to take a look at http://stud.fh-heilbronn.de/~jdebis/leechftp/, to download a free copy of LeechFTP.
There is also a tutorial on AOTA specific to it's use that you may also find very helpful.[nbsp][nbsp]It's located at http://www.Aota.net/FTP/leechftp.php3. :)
