About a month or so ago, I started recieving these annoying emails in either japanese of chinese. I really don't care what language it was, I am highly pissed! :(
I would get these almost daily... so I started 'replying back' to with REMOVE in the subject -- knowing full well this wouldn't work... but tried it anyway.
Well a couple of weeks ago.. I forwarded the email to Deb and she pointed out they were using my email address hearts@heartsweb.com as the reply email.
Angry people were writing to me about these emails requesting that I remove them from MY email list!! I even got reported!!! I didn't do this. :(
NOW, this has taken an adverse effect on my site. I got an email returned from my email greetings site, the host refuses to accept the email greeting to go through, because of this:
>>> MAIL <a href="mailto:From:<webmaster@heartsweb.com>">From:<webmaster@heartsweb.com></a>
<<< 550 You have been Identified as a SPAM source:372
I don't know what I am suspposed to do.. or how I can fix this? PLEASE HELP!

the host refuses to accept the email greeting to go through, because of this: The best thing you can do is email the host and explain the situation -- keep it short and detailed to assure it gets the attention it deserves.[nbsp][nbsp]Usually hosts will respond kindly to situations like this.

MYSELF.. i am not blocked, I can write to the host using another ISP.
I have NO IDEA as to why the complaint was sent to me! My domain doesn't even remotely resemble the complaint. (also... I did not say this complaint is the same as the one that got me into trouble) I had an email from an irate person recieving these same emails, and SHE said she reported me. *and it was done* :( )
*I don't even know what language it is*
I do not have any mailing lists, I do not have subscription lists, nothing. I just let the email greeting site do what it does.
As for the email address, I cannot change it cuz it is from "sendmail" .. only other thing I can think of doing is ordering a new package and putting Heartistic Wishes on a separate account instead of an internal redirect.
Regardless, it sux that this happened! :(

As far as sites rejecting your mail,
since your e-mail from your domain can't get through you should probably obtain a temporary e-mail address and mail to them from there explaining the mix up.
Don't get hotmail or yahoo, though. They probably have those blocked as well.
I looked over your entire post of the complaint article, and[nbsp][nbsp]don't see your domain in that message ANYWHERE, so I don't see how that article can be what's causing you the problem.
You might try reading or posting to some of the newsgroups in the news.admin.net-abuse heirarchy. Not sure which one, though, and they are awfully high volume to wade through. But someone there might have a better idea[nbsp][nbsp]about what's going on and be able to help you.

Funny... the site HK Police Recreation & Sports Club is hardly a place for a spammer, unless it's a **** good hack.[nbsp][nbsp]The HTML must be Chinese encoding.
Like Sheila says, I can't find anything in there that remotely looks like it's linked to you.[nbsp][nbsp]In any case, nomis.com.hk is no longer accessable - at least from here.
Keep us posted on what's going on.
oopsie... Dxxx is censored LOL.[nbsp][nbsp]Make that dang!

ok.. i have some answers! :)
Iname is not taking care of spam originating from their smtp servers, we have had to block several of iname's smtp servers as we received about 10,000 spam messages that all originated from their servers and after many attempts of contacting the administrators for INAME, all which went un answered and spam still flowing in normally, I had no choice but to block their smtp servers so they could not send us email.
see?!? IT was NOT me that they were blocking exactly. The recipient was using an email alias from iname.net: Received-From-MTA: DNS; lmtp05.iname.net is listed as the sender to this host. However, the rejected email implied that I was.
I had thought I had to deal directly with Iname until Terra pointed out who I needed to contact. Thanks Terra!
i will note that after i got past the autoresponders, Iname was very cooperative with me
Happy again!
