Yet another meaningless quesiton [FQuest Logo] [Archive]

Actually, I was the one that created it... I utilized Visio Pro to create the base image slice, which was inspired by the 'Shadow Ships' from Babylon 5...

I had worked with several different stacking methods, then by surprise/accident, I had nudged it 8 pixels to far and the internal recursive arrows appeared out of nowhere...

After that - all I could say was 'Coooool'...

(hope you don't mind for me to reflect for a moment)
To me, the FQuest logo is very paradoxical in many respects...
It reflects both forward and reverse at the same time...
It shows that it has unbounded internal growth, while bounded by the external limits of it's outer edges...
It is a stacked unity that can stand both alone and together...

In Retrospect -- the top layer signifies Deb, while the bottom layer signifies myself, combined together we create the inner unity of forward motion and progress...

I feel that our logo is very distinctive of what FutureQuest is all about - especially the people working behind the scenes making this community a reality...

In conclusion: this is a peek within my minds eye as I was envisioning and creating it... I never get tired of seeing it when I hit the FutureQuest homepage... It always stirs a wonderful sense of pride within me as it was designed for both the present and the future...

It was very difficult to find the words to describe what the FQuest logo means to me... It's a feeling that only it's creator could have, and trying to express that emotion from essences to ascii text, much can be lost in the transition...
