Taz SMTP?

Is there a problem with outgoing mail on Taz? I can download mail fine, but when I try to send (using Pegasus), it times out before connecting to the SMTP server (uh, don't have the exact error message). It's not urgent for me at the moment, but wanted to make sure you knew if it was a problem on your end, or wanted to start soliciting suggestions on how to fix it if it's on my end.

Hmm . .. getting the same thing on SIX when I try to send. Furthermore, I tried my old YahooMail account, and that only let me send one email before it broke and won't let me back in. Is it anti-email day or what?? I might have to revive the old Hotmail account *gasp* nooooo!!!

Many apologies to Taz and Six!!! I would send chocolate to make amends, except I can't attach it to email that I can't send anyway.

How bizarre. I know I didn't change any settings. Argh. Stoopid puter. If only it could wait until Monday when we FINALLY get our Business Visa courriered to us (after the bank made us wait 2 months since we applied!!) so we could buy some REAL software. Blah.

Don't mind my weird mood . . . off to reenter all my settings, then gonna post in the General Computing a plea for help with this.
