Okay,

I just tried to connect to the MySQL server through telnet and it said the command did not exist. Am I missing something? You sent me a letter saying what my logon was. Is my database area setup yet. Or am I not doing this right?

Thanks for the help

Glad you got it going... You had posted this is so many different threads, and I had followed up in this thread:

The problem was with MySQL, not with anything you were doing wrong...

Thank you,

I am sorry I was not sure where to post it at. Still getting the hang of where I should put certain things. I will be posting the URL for mywebadmin in a minute if you would like to check it out. may be something you offer canned to your new users.

Thanks

WOA!!! No No...

That script should be password protected and *NOT* publically accessible... it has a bit more info in it then you should really make available to anyone....

I would advised pw protecting the area you have that script in and keeping it 'hush hush' for your use only.

We know the script http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif Anyone who can get to that script can do basically anything they want to your database... that script is for your private use only.

We've considered it as a pre-installed deal but wont be offering it just yet....

Yeah Deb it is password protected deep in a directory not normally used or named. and I am the the only one with the password. I realized the security issues withit. I also noticed the first time I connected it showed all the databases. I went back in and changed a few things so now when I go there it goes directly to my database. That is why I thought you might want to can it so you can control where the users are going. Just alittle fyi for you and terra.

Thanks
