Chat Rooms

Is it possible for you to add a "CHAT" room. I see that you (Deb and Terra) are almost always online. It might be helpful to have a JAVA CHAT or something similar, where people can come and chat with you, ask questions, talk to the kids, whatever.

Setting up our own IRC server, exclusively for FutureQuest realm...

There are unique times that a problem can be solved much faster interactively, instead of bouncing a myriad of emails back and forth... We are evaluating different methods to facilitate our growth, yet still provide the same quality of service our customers are accustomed to receive...

I agree with everyone that there are times when a real time conversation is needed. For those times we do make the adjustments needed to provide whether it be phone, ICQ, IRC or even pulling out the beta Java Chats....

I much prefer the forums though as they offer EVERYONE more support then a real time chat does. Once a question has been asked/answered in real time it's gone. Only to be asked/answered over and over again. Via forums like these it's simple to do a search for the topic you may be needing help in and hopefully find the answers already here ready and waiting for you. It's also a great way to learn new things you may have not even thought about before.

I'm a strong believer that forum support is the number one means of support available.. allowing everyone to learn and particapate at their own speed and at times that are good for their schedules.

Ahhh but there are those times... *grin* and that's when real time is a must http://www.aota.net/ubb//smile.gif
