STATS have been delayed as I am still working on a major overhaul in the way logs are written...
I had hoped to be done with both phase I and II by now, but it has been slow going as multi-file manual editing needed to be done...[nbsp][nbsp]I just didn't trust automating the updates...
Phase II will begin in a few minutes, and after this is complete I will fire off the STATS run to bring everyone current...
I hope to have this all wrapped up by noon...
My apologies for the delay on TAZ...

Done
All STATS on TAZ are now up to date...
The only visible change you will see is that all of your logs are now being written to:
'access.today'
instead of:
'access'
This seemingly minor change will pave the way for stage15 logging, in an effort to streamline compression and rotation duties...[nbsp][nbsp]It will also bring TAZ up to spec with the other servers once phase III and IV are complete...

Since you brought up stats...
Are you still investigating or testing another stats program?[nbsp][nbsp]I know in July, the unofficial word was to look for something this fall.[nbsp][nbsp]The weather here is very cool today, so since it feels like fall... :)

Right now, I am restructuring the servers for a major overhaul in that area...
The problem right now is that the STATS package we are looking at is on the verge of releasing a Linux specific solution, which would be much more scalable and integrate more tightly into our systems...[nbsp][nbsp]We find it prudent to wait and go with the best product, that fits our needs, instead of rushing the NT solution out the door - only to double the work in converting it over to Linux later...[nbsp][nbsp]We are being told that it will be soon, and that alpha testing is currently underway...
However, if we find the release is way too far down the road - we will take the steps necessary in making it a reality regardless of which platform we have to base it on...
