Whew! We're a bit behind on letting everyone (officially) know what has been added to QuestLand over the past few weeks...[nbsp][nbsp]Other posts have told quite a bit but I wanted to go ahead and give a quick breakdown up here in the News Forum for those who are unable to keep up-to-date everywhere else.[nbsp][nbsp]So here goes -- Just the Facts :)
1. PHOENIX - New Community Server in production use.[nbsp][nbsp]Brand new breed here folks -- Stability seems quite solid :D
Intel Pentium-III 850Mhz Processor with 1Gb of RAM purring like a kitten and already closed from new accounts!
Brand New OS (Linux 6.2).[nbsp][nbsp]
Hopefully Andrew will chime in when he's around with some more of the technical details concerning this server as she is sweeeeet! (All other Community Servers had their RAM boosted up as well this month.[nbsp][nbsp]Noted in the other "upgrade" threads)
2. MYSQL02 - The second full production MySQL Server. MySQL02 consists of a powerful Intel Pentium III-700MHz and 512Mb of RAM (MYSQL01 was also upgraded to be just as robust!)
3. DEXTER - A brand new community server in production use that just snuck in this week.[nbsp][nbsp]He's a clone of the PHOENIX server with the PIII-850Mhz and 1Gb of RAM.
New accounts are currently being placed on DEXTER.[nbsp][nbsp]The name comes from the cartoon "Dexter's Laboratory" where Dexter is a genius child that has an annoying big sister, who isn't quite as smart as he is. ;)[nbsp][nbsp] Click Here (http://www.aota.net/sound/overload.wav) to hear Dexter
4. CNC - Version 2.2 was released! A couple of features worth noting include the ability to forward all email in a POP account upon deleting the account and the ability to forward any existing mail to another account upon setting up the account to automatically forward (previously you needed to download that email separately to obtain it).[nbsp][nbsp]There were quite a few other items and some bug fixes added as well.[nbsp][nbsp]To see the current write-up click here (http://www.futurequest.net/Status/NewCNC.php) or better yet, go surf your CNC!

What's coming up?
I cannot give you dates nor promises nor specific details on any of the following, but being the blabbermouth that I am, I will give you some hints of things I've seen being worked on in the basement....
I've seen a new stats server being tinkered with, a new QuestMail server being pounded on, some pretty kewl CNC hacks being pondered, some new staff being brainwashed (it's important that they understand how we work around here *grin*), and one really really really really big surprise coming near completion that will help to expand QuestLand by leaps and bounds.[nbsp][nbsp]I've seen photographers gearing up their equipment, coders putting together new automation tools on the backend to further speed up our services, as well as new tools added to the service desk and upgrades to what it already does.[nbsp][nbsp]I've seen referral plans being discussed, community events being pondered, and more extranets being registered in order to provide even more resources for all of you![nbsp][nbsp]
Another words, it's a very active team on this end and everyone is working as diligently as they possibly can in an effort to bring you an entire year filled with pleasant surprises.[nbsp][nbsp]We've had a couple of things fall behind schedule, which is always a pita, but overall I'm confident everything will be back on track in no time. :)[nbsp][nbsp]
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
