The SEVEN server is currently suffering from an network interface problem...
I will be resetting the server to clear up this situation...[nbsp][nbsp]It is a known problem with the Intel drivers that currently does not have a solution other than resetting the NIC card...
On a brighter note, there are many changes coming soon that will reduce the time required to have these servers reset lowering the overall response time...[nbsp][nbsp]I have just gotten in the first set of components with more on the way...
SEVEN should be back online within the next 45 minutes...
Our apologies for the inconvenience this is causing...

Does this effect questmail ??
It may slow down the connection a bit but not affect it really.[nbsp][nbsp]QuestMail is on the NINE server and NINE is fine.

These things are contagious, aren't they?[nbsp][nbsp]Do you keep SEVEN and NINE separated at a safe distance so they play nicely?[nbsp][nbsp]:P
QuestMail seemed to become inacessible right around the same time SEVEN went off-line, and now when I try to login I get the following error:
"Server hostname is incorrect. Please try again!"
I tried again and it told me the same thing.[nbsp][nbsp];)[nbsp][nbsp][nbsp][nbsp]I just feel like getting yelled at today...

Are you trying to check email accounts that are on SEVEN or another server?[nbsp][nbsp]As noted, SEVEN wouldn't be accessible but I've tested QuestMail for other accounts and it's working fine.
Let me know.
Deb
[nbsp]- I thought yes, but I pressed the no option.

Hmm, I'm not sure I follow.[nbsp][nbsp]Aren't all email accounts on NINE?[nbsp][nbsp]The domain is on SEVEN, if that's what you mean, but I didn't think that would affect the email...
Duped
Your email is with your web site... if your domain is on SEVEN then your email is as well.[nbsp][nbsp]So though QuestMail, the program on NINE, is in fact functioning, it can not reach your email if it is on SEVEN since SEVEN is having problems.
QuestMail the program -- On NINE
Email connectivity -- Whatever server your site is on.
QuestMail is up and running for all...
SEVEN is having problems so QuestMail will not be able to connect to SEVEN right now to retrieve email.
Deb
[nbsp]-- Whew! Tell me that made sense :P

Oh.[nbsp][nbsp]I've seen the light![nbsp][nbsp]Now if someone would just remove the lamp shade...

After re-boot problems,
while trying to login get the Error:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@internetexam.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
In addition, My banner rotation cgi is not working either.
Any suggestions?
Yes, CGI is still out though the sites are up.... Andrew is still working on the situation and is aware of the problem....

Alright, there's the answer I was looking for to my question I posted in server questions. Thanks Deb for the speedy response.

I am still working on the CGI sub-system...
To be blunt, I've never seen anything like this particular situation and the problem is not making itself known...
Please be patient as I pull out the big guns to track this down...
