OSCAR is the new FutureQuest Backup system.[nbsp][nbsp]OSCAR improves the speed, reliability, and convenience of performing the nightly backups on all servers.[nbsp][nbsp]FutureQuest will no longer be doing backups via tape drives.[nbsp][nbsp]OSCAR has proven to be over 6 times faster when performing full system backups.[nbsp][nbsp]OSCAR contains an amazing 200 gigabyte array of IBM 37.5 hard drives. This new system is utilizing RAID-5 and RAID-1 technology.[nbsp][nbsp]OSCAR is the result of many hours of thought and time.[nbsp][nbsp]OSCAR was custom designed, built, and named by Andrew the FutureQuest Sys Admin and heart behind the servers.[nbsp]
